Can QuanCog run completely offline?
Yes. QuanCog supports on-premise deployment in air-gapped environments. Indexing, retrieval and answer generation all happen inside your environment, with no outbound connection required.
Which file formats does QuanCog support?
Common document formats can be imported, including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plain text and Markdown. Scanned files need recognisable text. What works for your material specifically is something a trial confirms.
How does QuanCog perform in Chinese and Japanese?
On a 200-question internal benchmark, retrieval hit rate for Chinese and Japanese was 100% (Wilson 95% confidence interval, measured March 2026). Overall Hit@5 was 97.4%.
How is QuanCog different from building our own RAG?
The difference is the citation chain and the audit trail. Retrieval, generation and citation are all recorded, so an answer traces back to the passage it came from. The same service runs on the three major clouds and on-premise, so changing where it runs does not mean rebuilding it.
How is QuanCog priced?
By deployment and seats. Price depends on where it runs (cloud, on-premise or hybrid), the number of seats, and the size of the knowledge base. Contact us for a quote.
Can QuanCog connect to our existing SharePoint or cloud drive?
Documents from those locations can be imported. How the connection and permission mapping work depends on your environment, and is confirmed during the deployment assessment.
How long does a QuanCog rollout take?
It depends on the number of documents, their formats and the deployment. A trial is provisioned after our approval, and we will contact you to confirm timing rather than quote a number that has nothing to do with your environment.
What happens to our data after the service ends?
It is retained for 90 days from the termination date so that you can request an export or a restore, and is then deleted. Enterprise customers may agree a different period in a service agreement, in which case the agreement prevails. See the Privacy Policy.
Does it handle functional safety documentation?
Retrieval and question-answering over documents of this kind are in scope. The team holds IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 credentials and knows how such documents are structured and reviewed. That is a qualification held by people, not a certification held by the product.
